Crisis Assistance Applications are currently at capacity. We will resume accepting Crisis Assistance Applications on September 8, 2026, at 8:00 AM. We are still accepting Case Management Applications.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works diligently to process existing applications and serve our community as efficiently as possible.
Community Services – 2026 Program Year Now Open
Gulf Coast Community Services Association, Inc. (GCCSA) Community Services has officially launched the 2026 Program Year.
We will continue providing services through our Case Management and Crisis Assistance programs to eligible residents of Brazoria, Galveston, and Harris Counties.
Ways to Apply:
GCCSA is currently accepting applications through two application methods:
Option 1: Online Application Portal “Opened on February 10, 2026.”
- Submit the 2026 Application for Services through GCCSA’s online portal.
- Complete applications will be reviewed and assigned to staff for processing. (Complete applications includes all documentation required for processing.)
- Applicants may be contacted to schedule an in-person appointment and provide required documentation, if needed.
- Applicants who DO NOT provide all required documentation will not be processed.
Option 2: Call Office To Apply
- Call GCCSA’s main office at 713-393-4700.
- You will be placed on the Application Waitlist.
- GCCSA staff will contact you to schedule an in-person appointment.
- Attend your scheduled appointment with all required documentation.
- Complete applications will be assigned to staff for processing.

Each option has a daily cap on the number of applications received daily.
Outreach events are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Due to staffing capacity and our commitment to providing quality service to scheduled clients, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. Individuals who arrive without an appointment will be placed on a waitlist for future outreach opportunities.

The Food Pantry is closed on Tuesdays.

If your family is in need of an emergency supply of groceries, please visit the Food Pantry between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
