The 2018 Community Assessment is intended to capture moment-in-time perceptions of individual and neighborhood concerns facing our neighbors living in Harris County. Surveys are conducted in Houston Metropolitan areas served by Gulf Coast Community Services Association, Inc.
GCCSA has identified seven areas that influence the quality of life of those in a community; particularly low-income persons. The seven areas, or domains, are: • Assistance • Case Management • Education • Employment • Family Support • Housing • Medical
GCCSA team members developed a survey instrument that captures the defined seven areas in order to: (1) establish a baseline with regards to “needs” and (2) conduct a community assessment to identify and prioritize areas of focus.

We have a 20+ million dollar agency operating budget and use it to fully benefit our neighbors. Our services to the community include:
