The Power to Empower Program serves clients who have received disconnect notices from their energy provider. This program integrates a plan of action or service agreement which much be completed prior to receiving aid.
The Power to Empower Program has two options:
Option I – Client(s) will have a Service Agreement or Plan of Action that must be completed in order to receive an energy assistance payment.
Option II – Client(s) must agree to a two-month long Service Agreement, which will include participating in at least one ongoing class (ABE/GED, Nutrition, SSL, Business Applications, Money Management, etc.).
