Salary Range $21,000.00-$29,000.00(based on qualifications and experience). |

| FAMILY SERVICE ASSOCIATE – CLOSE DATE MARCH 12, 2010 | |
| Requirements: | High School Diploma/GED Required. Bachelors or Associates degree in social work preferred or related education plus relevant work experience in a similar position or internship at a social service agency. Bilingual (English and Spanish) required. |
| Experience: | A minimum of 1 year of case management experience. Ability to plan, organize, allocate, and control substantial resources. Must have a proven track record of success. Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start philosophy and Federal guidelines highly desirable, experience in parent involvement, familiar with problems of low-income families, especially minority groups, experience managing and tracking effective casework systems, engage in ongoing recruitment and enrollment of eligible children for the program, maintain professional relationships within the community and be knowledgeable of community resources to effectively assist families in accessing appropriate services, conduct Needs Assessments and complete Individual Family Partnership. |
| Additional: | The Family Service Associate is responsible for the implementation of an exemplary, innovative system of family support services and community partnerships in compliance with Head Start & Early Head Start Program Performance Standards while providing Comprehensive, High Quality Services for families through Commitment and Leadership that empowers the “Whole Child and the Whole Family” through Partnering with Families, Staff and the Community. Salary Range $28,136 – $34,792 (based on qualifications and experience). |
